Welcome to Almira School District

  • Child Find offered May 13th

Welcome Kelsey Hoppe, our new principal for the 2021-22 school year!

It is with great pride and excitement that I will be joining Almira School District. I am honored to be your new Principal.

I graduated from Wilbur High School in 2003 and attended college at Eastern Washington University to obtain my Bachelors in Education. I then obtained my first teaching position and about 5 years later completed my Masters in Educational Leadership, also through Eastern Washington University.

I have had a career in education since 2007. I first started teaching at Tonasket High School, then moved to Horizon Middle School in the Central Valley School District. For the past nine years I have been in Creston. I have worked as a teacher, advisor, coach, assessment coordinator and assistant athletic director.

My husband Coltan and I have been blessed with two daughters. Kendall is 8 years old and Cora is 5. We enjoy spending time together, going to the beach, traveling and playing games.

I believe it is important to build positive relationships with everyone that I work with, including students, staff and the community. I look forward to meeting more people in the Almira School District Community.

    Kelsey Hoppe
