    Almira School District is seeking applications from persons interested in being appointed to committees to write the for/against statements for the Lincoln and Grant County Local Voters’ Pamphlets related to the District’s Educational Programs and Operation Levy ballot measure to be considered at the February 13, 2024 election.  Those interested should send their name, address, phone number and which position they represent to: Dan Read, Superintendent, Almira School District, P.O. Box 217, Almira, WA 99103-0217 or via email at dread@almirasd.org by November 27, 2023.  The Board will take action on the appointments at its November 28, 2023 regular board meeting.

    NOTICE TO PARENTS AND COMMUNITY MEMBERS REGARDING STUDENTS WITHIN THE ALMIRA SCHOOL DISTRICT: THE DISTRICT’S HIGHLY CAPABLE REFERRAL PROCEDURES ARE CURRENTLY UNDERWAY FOR STUDENTS WHO ARE NOW IN GRADES K-8. THE HIGHLY CAPABLE PROGRAM SERVES STUDENTS IN GRADES K-8. NOMINATIONS MAY BE MADE BY TEACHERS, PARENTS, STUDENTS, OR ANY OTHER INTERESTED PARTY. REFERRAL PACKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT THE DISTRICT OFFICE AND ARE DUE BY DECEMBER 16, 2022 AT 4:00.
